Ok, you kinda jumped around a bit here. If you're trying to program the atmega you should be using jeepers. Jkeys is for backing up, editing, and restoring your tsop and eeprom. (as well as extracting your boxkeys.)

Anyway, assuming you already knew that, what receiver are you using, which version of jeepers are you ising, and are you certain your jtag is connected properly?
