Please help, Trying to go n00b from stupid

I had this problem before, about my rom3 card not going past step 2 of 5 when getting the signal. I got lucky somehow and reprogrammed the card and it worked. But I wanted to finilize the cam and get the channels I wanted, but now this problem wont go away. Here is a step by step of what i am doing, maybee someone can see what I am doing wrong.

First, I use YATM to create the tiers. I select the satelites that i use (110,119 and 61.5 ) I select the First package America's Everything Package , Cinemax ,encore movie package, hbo the works,International everything,showtime, sky angel,Starz,super stations and turner south. I dont select any locals , on the ppv tab , I enter the minimum number (channel 502) and maximum (channel 539) for current I tired the maximum event id and the id from channel 518. I also converted the max and min id in order to enter them into the low tier and high tier field in hex form. Then I clicked add new in order for those values to register as the ones I want. I then entered my info like the ird number , cam number and box keys, zip , time zone, and I modified the blackout string to 0c at the end to represent chicago. Then I just click generate to create the patch.

Second. I open up nagra4.1 and do a one step clean before any writing. I open up the patch , test patch, run patch , it shows me no errors. I then open up the russian blocker, test patch, run patch, also no errors. Then i write to card. After writing, i read the card and I see that its spoofed to rev383.

After I put the card into the ird , It stops at step 2 of 5 and it just stays there.
Can someone please help me graduate from stupid to n00b . thanx in advance for your help.

Sounds like a hardware problem to me....

I have one dish500
and another single lnb dish pointed at 61.5

This cant be hardware related. I have another rom10 card that works. I pay this dude and I want to do in on my own. When I take out that rom10 card, and put in the one I programmed, then this happens.

don't select the ppv tier for now just do the top60 and enter the sys info like you are already doing. Also let sit for few minutes on the sat test screen it takes a little bit of time some times. Seems like you are using the guide posted by 001438 you can try mine its a little different.

Alright ....

Clean and back up your Rom 3 image...then use the attached image from this post under my nick , change your camID etc....see if that works...

If that doesn't work, create an E3M with the top one of two America packages only.

Last resource is to use a program called Scammer II to create a few more cam IDs.

I did as suggested, program the card without ppv and it worked :) . So i must be doing something wrong with ppv. any idea what?

I entered the event id's correctlly, but it is still asking me to pay for the porn of the ppv movies. If I add event id's and the ppv tiers together, the cam seems not to work. Are we supposed to add the ppv tiers and event id's or just one or the other?

read my guide. There is a file Attached to one of my posts in the tier making guide that 001438 started. Look for the ppv fix file posted by me in that sticky and then read my guide.

Sorry, post #12 didnt have your sig, only post #4 showed it. Anyways, I checked out that file. But the Event Id's seem very wide. Is it safe to use, I read up a lot of ppl saying bad stuff about wide id's.

I would not have posted the ppv fix if it was not safe for a newbie. I use the string myself. But you can edit those if you feel more comfortable with tighter strings. Actually u can subscribe that will be the safest.
