Thinking about geting BEV I have a few questions please help?

1ST My friend knows a guy that has a 3900 rec, rom 10 card and will program it to BEV for $200 good deal? 2ND can you get NFL Sunday ticket , Nickelodeon, ESPN, ABC, CBS, NBC. THANKS

Good deal? I dunno.

You don't get NFL Sunday Ticket on BEV or Nick. You get the U.S. networks as for ESPN, I'm not sure.

You get a CDN ESPN that replays CDN football over and over but not the true ESPN 1 & 2 like US TV ...

I'd go with dish if you can, I use bev and hate it, damn tree is blocking my singal for dish network. Although bev suffers from far less ECM's and whatnot the sucky programing makes up for it. Although, with the 3900 you can so a very simple mod and load it up with firmware for it to be 2 2700 receivers, one for dish, one for bev. you change with the flick of a switch. (having 2 cards is nice for this or you have to reprogram each time). If you can do it, it's not great way to go if you ask me, there is info on that if you search and files in the file section. Maybe a project for later on are you are up and running. Anyways I'd just get the rec and card and program the stuff yourself, and I wouldent pay much more than $150 us for them.
