The yard sale and those DN equipment needs

Don't overlook the yard sale or estate sale when looking to fill those DN testable equipment needs.

So far in two yard sales out of 15 I visited in the last 4 weeks. I found one 3000 with a rom3 at 381. Snatched this one up for 30.00 US dollars. Came with a dish 300.

Next found a 3700 with a rom 10 at A16 along with a 7200 with a rom 3 at 381. The package also came with a dish 500 with two SW21 multi switches. All for 50.00 bucks US.

Those bargins are starting to show up everywhere so keep your eyes open and grab em cheap.

About a month ago I picked up a 2700 with open rom3 for $8. Other times got a 2700 and 7100 with rom3 rev372's for $100, and then two 301.10's with open rom10 and rom11's and three blue key remotes for $30. If you keep your eyes out it can be really suprising the deals you can find. I am not a yard saler myself. I hate them. But I do have two friends that have female companions that hit them religously. We can thank Charlie for the free upgrades to his newer IRD's. My installer buddy told me yesterday that I needed to come in and check out the new model 921 PVR. I hope everyone upgrades. That way we will see just that much more usable testing equipment for dirt cheap.

yes yard sales and everyone switching back to cable in my area are doing wonders for my dishnet warehouse!!!! also loca disposal sites{dumps} im finding lots of stuff there that is free for the taking..keep those eyes wide open when driving down the road at trash pick-up time..

Good way to find stuff, Found 3 this weekend myself. One was a cherry like new 7200 with open rom 3 and remote. Got the keys from card and it runs like new. Paid 5 BUCKS!! Made my day.......

get in with the rental storage unit managers in your area, when their customers quit paying and notice given,after so long becomes managers . 5-10 aweek for 20.00$ a pop. as your driving just look how many their are in your area. got 15 last week! + all the dvd players,camcorders,tvs ect. cheap!
