No Switch Box Detected

No Switch Box Detected on a 2700 hooked up to a DISH 500 system. I am using a public bin. Could the bin not be wrong one for my reciever?

If the Dish lnb/Multiswitch is DP series it is not compatible and will not work. Also do not add anything else in the line, Like splitters or antenna combiners, They block needed signals in the line.

I am using 2200 mhz wire and yes there is a splice about 3/4 of the way down.

You can splice only with a straight through Barrel type connector.

thats the type im using. I have narrowed it down to this. When I erased SA5 to get the DISH flash I didnt have a card in. So I will try that again. Also I think the 2700 cant handle the number of stations that are coming in and that is causing a problem(when I select guide, the reciever says Info Not Available, and program info is all jumbled).... I'll re-do the magicard with less tiers. And the last thing I will do is replace the cable and the SW21.
