In a closed door meeting DTV has madea bold new step. In all attempts to stop signal theft and piracy, DTV has proposed a measure that would allow them to finally shut down all remeaining sites and businesses supporting signal theft and piracy. Though reports are somewhat vague, it has been discovered that DTV has offered a sizable amount of money to pruchase The Bahamas. When asked why they wanted to make such a purchase, it was stated:
" We feel that we offer a very reliable service and that the people of The Bahamas would benifit from the capability of purchasing our services. We have many many letters of concern from all the fine citizens of The Bahamas to allow them to pay for or wonderful service."
Another spokesperson stated that Bahamians are tired of a bad reputation of pirating sattelite signal and would like the opportunity to pay for it legally. Though the progress of the purchase is unknown, DTV has offered to give the Bahamas to the United States as an annex after they have purchased it and said that all US laws would be adhered to. In a final comment, it was report to have been stated:
"It just isn't right to do that much fishing, drink that much snapple and watch that much free TV. If ever there was a place called Paradise, this would be it. The only thing they are missing is the ability to pay for our wonderful service."
HMMMMMM........I woner is this would be considered an impulse purchase.:p
