Smartcard Not Inserted Correctly 301.013

Just a quick question here, I have done a few 301.013 single tsop in the past and never had this problem. I have been able to read keys, but when I load my Rom 3 card I get smartcard not inserted correctly. I have never needed to do a Vid mod in the past, could that be the reason for this error?? I have triple checked the keys and they are all correct.

Any insight would be appreciated.

If a Vid Mod is needed I would be getting black screen with banners, I am not even getting that far...I think the card slot, or card chip reader maybe gone...:(

sounds like your rom3 = looped

Nope not that have tried the same card in my other receiver and works fine, have also tried Rom 10 and same thing.

really, well if a vidmod was needed , it would error even before you saw the banner, and the .13 (if single tsop) needs a vidmod! (change d500 -> 0000 at address 7fffff or soemthing)

Not all single tsop 013 need a vid mod, and I am saying that if a vid mod is needed I don't think that is the error that I would get (smart card not inserted correctly). If I put all zeros in for the ird and box keys I should be able to get all preview channels, but can't even get that.......

yeah, it definiatley sounds like the card aint making full contact or something!, c uz even IF it needed a vid mod you would get 349 i beleive

If your 301.13 is a single tsop chip u probably need the vidmod depending on the build.
If it came with a yellow card you probably need a vidmod.
If youl get error 349 wrong card you probably need a vidmod.

If error is smart card not inserted correctly its something else. Possibly incorrect info on card or not programmed correctly. U say u've done few 301.13's so I figure u know how to prgram a card. Try my yatm guide attached to my sig and maybe even look at my sig for the rom programming guide.
