can anyone tell me how to add power to my atmega128 programer

You should no have to "add power" to your atmega. When programming it gets power from your computer and when running gets power from ird...........

i having trouble with one of my atmege 128's (running at 16 mhz) and i read in another post the adding exteral power to the programer may help.

it seems to program fine, but when i insert it into the reciever i get card insert wrong or not sound and no pics. I useing the same program that work on an identical card same lock/fuse settings and all.
