i am waiting for my mc , should be here in a couple of days, in the meantime i am trying to aquire sat signal. i have a 2year old 3100 bev without a card, the card was lost , my dish is lined up perfectly and signal meter stays at 0 signal. i am using my hu card inserted upside down to get the signal meter screen. i thought the lnb might be damaged so i connected my starchoice reciever to the bev dish and it shows a signal. any suggestions on how to get my bev to recieve a signal before my mc comes? also will i need to put a lock on my reciever when using a camless mode majic card?
