Is it possible that a certain build configuration for a particular receiver is not supported by one of the networks?

Example.

I have a 2700 dish receiver with build code cbsa that will not take a bev update not matter what I do. (I have not tried junkyard yet) I have done everything that I have found as suggestions and everyone who has answered my posts.

It works great as a dish receiver. Odd thing is and I guess maybe this is normal I have just never tried it is it gets some bev channels. No ppv, porn. But it does get locals. Is this normal?

Not all receiver models and builds are supported by both, You may have one. Good part is 2700 is pretty easy to flash and can get away with dif builds many times to try. Usually the sound is screwed up if the build is not compatible I found.
