you should beable to select 3900 from the drop down where it says ird model,,,choose the,,it should now tell you your box keys and such
,,wot you may need to do is program a virgin eeprom to it,,,do not ground pin one, this is going to keep reseting your ird and not let you do anything to ir,,when you do your progammimg to ird,,just un-plug and plug back in when j-keys promts you

this sounds like your j-tag lost connection during the first re-flash and is now getting stuck,,try eraseing it a few times
then re-programming it again

I do it all the time.. And I do not copy them into itself
I write 512k right into the 2M slot and it updates to a 3700C. I don't even make sure the Build Cfg is the same.. Just modify the 2700 bin in Flashedit correction the IRD, and Box key, Hit the Fix button Save it as Personal, Then save it again as VIRGIN and name it as such, you will have to insert the Build Date code (located on the little sticker on the Motherboard). Mount the IRD and set it on 2700, Flash the EEPROM 1st with the Virgin file, then Flash the Program with the Personal file and Stream-it... All will be good (Except for the occasional 005 nag)

hey guys i forgot the password for my old account so i created a new one anyways
here is the update from me
first i would like to thanks everyone for their support..
But let me remind you that i cant erase my flash thats why whenever i try to write on flash it says the flash memory is currently not empty but it still lets me write on the flash and it only allows me to write the flash that i read from the reciever it wouldnt read any other flash no different files even though its same bld cfg
what i did was opend up a flash that i downloaded from the download section opened it in flash edit to edit my corrupted flash i copied paste everything besides my ird and box key and ird hex..
Also another thing that i noticed was that when i opened my corrupted flash flashedit opened it as 3100.013 2 flash
even though my reciever is 3900
i also tried wall it doesnt give me error when i erase flash but then it shows its programming but when i open jkeys again then nothing
also in wall it wouldnt pick up my id but it has some numbers in Serial box it started with R so i think that was a reciever # but its not same as what i use to hav i have been trying to fix this reciever and tried tons of stuff for 2 weeks now... but i still have hope
Now also my digital lock is turned off and i had it hooked with 3.3v do you think i should cut that solder for now or it doesnt really matter... also how would i overcome with the
DQ6 stop toggling problem thats the reason why i cant erase my tsop i read about tsop memory and how it works and in there it said that i cant erase my tsop if my DQ6 stop toggling
can any of you guys please share their SA30 file with me because it might fix my reciever well the tsop file said program H30 but it was just a general faq and i believe its same as our SA30 if i can find that file then i will be able to erase and flash any tsop....
Thanks in advance for sharing your SA30 file

Masta--- Know your frustration. If I were in your spot I would repeatedly try erasing the tsop. I was looking over my notes and at one time I had trouble similar to what you're experiencing but I did not record what I did to overcome the problem. Maybe I just kept trying to erase. I did note that if the erase time is very short 1-2 minutes, the tsop is not entirely cleared.
Well i know thats what i figured after trying to write on my tsop and sometimes it will refuse but sometimes it will write upto 95% but the only problem is that first i have to get the corrupted tsop out of there and i am unable to erase it as long as i am getting that DQ6 stop toggling error
as soon as i click erase i get this error message it wouldnt even erase something for a second right away it gives us this error

treelover you are the man.... at first i thought that it was a stupid question that if my dlick is properly wired but hey you were right it was the problem in my dlock wiring and that was causing the DQ6 error now i finally ersed my tsop and reflashed it and everything is back up
THANKS for your help treelover and everyone else
What i did wrong was after reading at so many places i confused myself i soldered a 3.3v connection as well as 5v connection from my dlock to the reciever so it was producing 8.8v and luckily i didnt fry my reciever and since i had tried everything using 3.3v power i desolder my 3.3v connection and left the 5v up and wallah my reciever blinked and i opened my jkeys and everything was fine.... my first mistake was not using a 5v connection if i had 5v first then i would have never face this problem... but since 3.3v was recommended on this site i didnt think about it
once again thanks everyone
