I have read the JTAG how to page and I can't get the thing to recognize my receiver.

I have a 301-010. The Jtag port does not have a solid bar on one side like the ones in the picture but one side doesn't have any traces going to it ant the other does so i assume the side without all the traces is the ground bus.

The how to doesn't specifically say which of the 9pin plugs to use and where the jumper should be set, it gives a list of sveral IRD's and says use the left jumper and 2700 port so again i assume since i have a 301 that i would use the jumper set on the right pins and the 3100 port.

When I hit detect in jkeys i don't get anything. I then tried moving the jumper, and plug to different places and trying again but never got anything. Eventually I shocked myself so i gave up temp. to ask here if anyone knew the 301 problems. My LPT port is fine even after the shock so i know thats not the problem.

Also, the port on the 301 has 8 pads and I may have to move the thing over one. It looks like the 8th one is slightly different so i haven't touched it yet.
