A friend of mine got caught in the rain with his 301010 dish receiver and brought it to me. I put the cables on it it acquired signal but it did not have the guide download screen. When it came up it said lost sat signal please stand by but nothing happened. I did a switch check signal was strong but still nothing. I went to the guide and it said guide down loading but it just stayed there with no download progress. Any guru's out there that might know what part is fried or where or how to test component.
