Unlooper help for rom3

I wrote a patch last night and everything was fine. So this morning I moved the IRD into the living room set it up and now the card is looped. This is the reading I get.

Opening of COM1 was successful
Reset failed
Error reseting card, ATR string invalid
Closing of COM1 was successful
Error detected, One Step Clean incomplete

start nagra go to bugbuster... choose 256...run bugbuster....insert and remove your card as bugbuster is running....should do the trick...do this a few times...

Thanks brandino, I tried it about 10 times didn't work. There is no unlooper for the rom3 is there one I can get to try to unloop it?

if that didn't fix it ...i guess its the bad loop which nobody has figured out yet....reports say it will be unlooped ...just a matter of time...nobody yet...

it's called testing,if you cant afford to lose you shouldn't play. i currently run at least 2 rom 3 cards in the stream at any given time & both mine are alive & well this morning.
i have had more probs out of my rom3 cards than anything else,i have a $225.00 (2 yrs old)OMEGA1 loader/programmer that has both 3.68 & 3.57 xtals & it wont read my rom 3 cards for some reason, i have to use my old dtv 3.57 mhz programmer to program them.
before i started playing around with freeware scripts i would try to read it in another couple programmers (if possible)& i f you can't read then send it out to be repaired,freeware scripts are too unpredictable& if you indiscriminatly try every script that comes along you'r gonna find one that fries your card beyond repair(dish produced maybe?).
as far as i know the ecm that fried everyones cards isn't still in the stream.
as i said before if you can't afford to lose don't play....or at least play safely ...(emulate,avr,atmega),i have a dozen p2 cards(worthless),5-p3 cards(worthless),3-rom 3 (1 looped)&2-rom10.iv'e been playing for a long time & enjoying every minute of it

how about the cards that say backdoor is locked when you read them??

did you lock them or did they get stream locked.

NIKII, card is not garbage, no cards are being looped at this time. try cleaning the contacts with a clean white eraser. and use a thin card as a shim in your programmer to tighten the contacts

If you place in the receiver and you get "Card not Inserted Properly"
then the card is looped.
No one has asked yet but what code do you have on the card,
what blocker?
Anything other then Penga no64 or new Checksum blocker and
most likely your card has been looped.
Sit and wait it out as there is no current fix at this time.

i had three cards that read the same....no valid atr..blah..blah...sofar..bugbuster has fixed and restored one of them...i think i set it on 256 too as a matter of fact
