If I turn the reciever off for a few seconds this channel will come in. this does this often. Im thinking its a bad sw21. its definately not the lnb as its been tested. One more thing. Should I delete some tiers because the guide isnt working good (too many channels?)

my setup--

Dish500
SW21
2 separate LNB's
2700 reciever
MAGICARD
used for DISH

That's not a special channel.. Read what it says.. you're losing satellite signal. Could be a bad SW21, or could be bad aiming, or could be, as in my Dad's case, a tree limb in the way.

"It wasn't there last year"

"Trees grow, Pop!"

Hmm I think its the SW21 then cause the signal on 119 transponder 1 was 114

Could be a flakie SW21. Get another one and swap them out. I know I went trough 3 before I got a good one.

Sounds to me like you just need to use the tiers for the MC. My 2700 acts freaky unless I lessen the load on the memory. These little jewels only have a 512meg tsop in em'. Try entering these tiers when you program your MC.

There is no 'o' in hex, use numeral 0. There is also a locals guide floating around that will tell you the tier you need for you specific local. You can also use any of the tier maker programs out there to find out what the tier is.
