3100.010 up_date

Been looking around will a recv that has been out of stream for@ 1year up_date
with only looking at 119 bird. Or do I have to be looking at 110 and 119. I know 2700 2800 will update on 119. But 3100.010 up date on 119 only.

Yes it will update fine on 119, Get it going with signal and turn the power off with the remote, It should turn itself back on after a few minutes with a screen saying attention 061 "Receiver is updating, Do not disturb or unplug". Message.

The reason I am asking I have up dated other recv's , but like you said should blink or come on to take update in a few mins. This one is not doing that. sould i force the up date or let it be.
I have 101 unpluged made sure that recv does not need permission and nothing.I am going to leave in stream over nite. See what i have in morning. For dishnet what is the current rev for3100.010 recv.

226 and 227 seem to be both good on 301-010's. Mine did not want to update either, Think it did not like the blocker on the card, I had a yellow 102 I use for updating, They do not marry, Anyway popped it in and then my 301-010 updated right away.

You could also always erase SA3 and let it update to the latest firmware in stream if you wish.
