Before you start taking it apart,is your location code 0000001?
If it is ,erase SA5 a couple of times.Plug it into the stream,voila,
put your card in and enjoy

Is there anyway you can check the dish and cable.(use a diff IRD)
my cable end worked its way off of my cable once,one big pain.
Sometimes its the little things that cause the biggest problems.

Ok ,give me in detail what you have done thus far,what programs you used,firmware on ird type of cam,etc.

when you put the atmega in and got to sys info is the cam id oooooo?
what happens when you put in the original cam?does it work then?

There is something going on right now,your not the only one with this problem,but it was mostly the 3100 being affected.
