301-010 Sat Signal not locking in

I have a 301-010 on BEV system that Signal said locked on to Sat 91 then it looses it. The LNB and dish is set right because my 2700 is working on the same dish with no problem.

The voltage coming from the receivers Sat antenna keeps changing from 18 volts to 13 volts about every 10 seconds. Thinking that this may have been an ECM, I reflashed the TSOPs and eeprom that I had saved previously from this receiver, with the same results. Testing my other units the voltage doesn't change it remains at 18 volts.

Sometimes the receiver locks on long enough to get the menu to load, then loses the signal again.

If anyone has an idea whats wrong or even a circuit diagrams, it would help. :cool:

1.try check switch
2. try ird reset : with remote press menu / 6 / 3 / info (not sysinfo) / right arrow / left arrow
when you see memory dump press tv/video button, you`ll see nonvolatile memory message, unplug for a minute
3. open it up and check the sat in connector, they don`t like to be over tightened.
also don`t like lighter cable if they`ve had RG6 connected. sometimes the contact will lose tension making for a bad connection. An easy fix for that problem is to shove some solder in the hole.
