jtag problems with DP301-013

Hi , my very first post . Iwas around from the h-card days however i'm new to dish. I been doing a lot of reading and find myself gaining a little confidents.i have one question, every time i try to retrieve the box keys from my dp301-013 reciever i keep recieving the following ;( error reading from ird - DCU peek). i'm not able to retrieve the boxkeys nor the ird number.Can some help me please. I am using a buffered jtag which i was able to retrieve the boxkeys from a 3800 reciever.

Grounding R79 or pad 1 is the key, it boots the receiver to ROM and not flash, sort of like link mode in the DTV receivers.
