Model 3700 but JKeys read IRD 2800

I bought the receiver from garage sale. In the back of receiver shown Model 3700 but Jkeys read IRD MODEL 2800. Is this a receiver 3700 or 2800?

It's a 3700 with 2800 firmware. All the 27/28/37/4700's (and I think a couple other models as well) will read 2800 in jkeys because they all run the same firmware. It's a 2800 now for all intents and purposes.

CORRECT... Except for 4700 it`s a much nicer unit

Nobrain, when you jkey your unit you will ALWAYS get the 2800 ID first even if it is flashed correctly - when you are in jkeys use the menu where it reads 2800, click on the scroll and highlight 3700 and you will see you get the same info on the receiver but it will ID your model now, it really does not matter if you change it. Project is right, the 27/28/37 and a few others have the same firmware.
