O.K Guys after everyone killing their brains ... becaue they keep getting black screen or freeze.....
Including myself i got one of my Atmega to work after 2 weeks of programming but my other atmega for 3900 reciever just wouldnt work...
In this forum this is what i did step by step hopefully if i or anyone is doing anything wrong will correct their mistake
All the help is appreciated
Please make correction and suggestions by step#
STEPS
1. Download all the files needed and keep them in same folder
2. Files are" Nagra edit" " Romtiermaker" "Jeepers" " Scammer" "Bin2Hex""Nnw21d.hex" and i am using Masterjam 052604.pfg since that worked for my 3700 reciever and the eeprom file that we are going to create will be all in same folder
3. Open Romtiermaker choose the channels that you want make sure Rom3 or for some people rom3unmarked is checked also make sure that Dish is checked in ... now click add ppv then click use this now add ird info just use default cam id or click create then click on get geys now put in your ird # and boxkeys zipcode i use 12345 or you can put in any number now click create ne3 and save it as tiers dont close the program just incase you forgot which cam id you are using or zipcode since we have to put that on jeepers as well
4. now open nagra edit click on file open card image open clean dish rom 3 image now click on file apply patch files now find your tiers file click open now goto the data tab your reciever ird# and box key should be automatically filled in if not then do it and make sure its in hex and make sure your cam id is there in hex and the latest keys are shown now save the file as myrom3
5. goto bin2hex program open it up now type myrom3.bn3 press enter now type myrom3.eep and press enter this should do the conversion and automatically close the program
6. at last open jeepers now click on get keys put in your ird# cam# and boxkeys
ird and cam # would be in dec not hex now click get keys and click on atmel atmega128 write flash this is where you put in nnw21d.hex file then go to atmel atmeaga128 write eeprom this is where you put in the myrom3.eep file that you made using bin2hex program now make sure your pfg file is correct and my lock/fuse settings are AA AF 89 FF i am not sure if they are wrong but i read it in some post that this is what its suppose to be and now click full monty
and thats it you are done
with this i get picture for 2 min then it freezes and then i try different cam id and programs and read discussion forums again and again and again and i am gettin tired of it let me know if i am doing anything wrong or if there are better steps
OH also i have used mikenet and megamaker same thing i get same problem but in this discussion forum lets keep it this way and not play around with mikenet or other programs
Now the experts would you please help us
