I have programmed atmega with about every public download fix in the last couple days I can get my hands on
iI am still getting black screen
i just noticed when I pulled out the atmega it says rev 38
is charlie locking this before it gets going?

or can you please help and tell me what I am doing wrog

need to do several erase's and alternate chip erase on it,,unplug and re-plug in ird,,doublre check you info in jeepers,,leave the zip alone,all 0's for now till you get some tv

BTW you have to reset the ird before you put card in unplug it or anything?

ok i tried this like 100 times
i am wearing this thing out programming it and erasing it
I actually got about a thirty second pict last time then went blank
check sys info on ird says cam id s0000000000
rev 383
I read somewhere this is a lock good ole charlie sends?

program in jeepersat external clock settingsc and leave jumper in progran settings

well he sure knew what he was talking about
I reprogrammed the card with jeepers re did all the boxkeys and all left the jumper in program set clock to external after i put it in stream it took all of about 5 minutes to come up and work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this fix worked!!!!!!!!!!
I cant tell you how much I want to thank you
I had even contacted the company I bought this card from they could not tell me right off what was wrong
(should I share this with them)?
then they would ne as smart as we are

thank you, tell who ever you think it will help, I just information from other sources and put it together in hopes it would work, I too was pulling my hair out. I also think the if the company that sold you this can not figure this out it is their problem. I think I my cause the maker may know the xtal is bad and will not own up to it. I wish milli sold 'em
