C-band Ku band

Can somebody tell me the difference between the c-band and ku band systems?
I have a pansat 2300A and want to get spanish channels and want to know what kind and size of dish i need and what type of lnb. i live in Canada on the west coast, any help will be appreciated!!! I want to get the solidaridad2 satellite

if you know what provider it is on I may be able to help you but I am not about to do the search for you, take some time to go to www.lyngsat.com and let me know exactly wht satellite and or provider carries that channel,,,if you are in the Oshawa area you can come by and I will help you out,,,come to 226 Bloor St..E , I sell FTA and dishes at this store,,,
