Hi,
I used have dave and still have his 18" dish on the roof. I just got a Panasat 2500A and was trying to set it up. I made no changes to the dish on the roof so I think it is still pointing to 101. I wanted to see if I could at least get one channel before I tried to flash it and move it to 110.

My problem is that I don't know what to pick when I get to the setup screen about the LNB stuff. Or even if the one I have from dave will work.

Does anyone know where I can get some information on this part of the setup?

Thanks!

Hi! you won`t get anything at 101w there is a bird there besides DTV but it`s Ku band. But to set up your receiver lnb set up goes like this;
flash with up to date flash right now it`s X8500 then set up as follows

LNB set to "standard"
LNB frequency "set to 11250"
22khz"set to off"
disqc if you have multi dish example;"#1/110 #2/119
LNB power "ON"
change FTA to ON
exit then go to parental control in menu put password in twice turn key function on then exit watch tv.

Hi! When you go into antenna setup and choose the sat you want that`s where you will see LNB power settings it will be on the right side 4th or 5th one.
just use your arrow button to change it.

HI,
My pansit 2500a doesn't have the feature LNB "on" or the FTA "on"
I can set the FTA to all or fta.

Is my firmware older then yours?

This is what I found .... hope it will help out others .....
