FTA Dish installation

Hi,

We have been reading alot about FTA installation for echostar & bev but not about the other sat, so anyone knows where can i found some instruction for installing telstar5 for panasat2500a, what elevation & scew,... for toronto.

Hi! here`s your setup for T-5 ,
Elavation 36.8
Azimuth 205.1
LNBF polorazation 17.9 counter clock wise

When you set it up it`s easier to find if you change the TP to 11898 just use your left right arrow to change that in your antenna menu...good luck

what type of dish should i choose? standard or something else
& you know i live in 30 floor & i can get dish 119 on 28 instead of 26, so should i put that elevation to 38.7 for telstar5? what scew should i select.

Hi! I have my set up like this for T5 ;
LNB standard
LNB frequency 10759
22khz "OFF"
disqc" your choice"
LNB power "ON"
satellite FTA to ALL

your skew for LNBF is counter clockwise at 17.9

so if your standing if front of dish rotate LNBF left to 17.9

If your using a signal meter turn it right up until you get a tone then turn it down then move dish slowly left to right until you get the best tone then turn your meter down again and adjust your elavation.
