Hi! To load your guide to your pansat you will need stb gtools 1.85 there are two different versions one for xp and one for 98/me version.
and when you get it go to the top left corner right click and open it up and when you do that go down to tools then into tools choose stb type #2 that one works for lifetime & ultra & pansat 2500a .
The stb gtools is here on the site for xp version ,if you need I have the stb gtools for version 98/me.

Hi! If you look under fortec ultra no guide you will find the stb gtools for channel
edit,it works on fortec lifetime and ultra and pansat.
once you get it if your using xp go to the top you will see tool bar select option and then you will see stb type you should set it on type 2 for pansat.and for lifetime and ultra.
there is also one on the FTA section for 98/me version as well.

Hi! To use the file right click when it opens another box in that go to stb type pick the stb type 2 then save it then have your RS232 hooked to your receiver get the info data from your receiver and save it.then right click in stb gtools open it then find satcodsx and open it up and then right click on say echo 7 and transfer data to top and edit it to match your channel info how you do it is match the video and audio will look like this ;
DFreq: 12297
video/5154 audio/5155 this is fox news channel.
do that starting from you first channel on top and edit each one on your computer
and when you are done transfer it to your receiver. it will take you a little bit of time but at least you will know which channels are which.
Hi miss xwolffs
name here is ken and I live in south carolina, just a wide place in the road on the other
side of resume speed, my query to you is, are you an engineer, with phd credentials?? I
have a friend that i:m trying to get interested in FTA, she is the former inventor of
kalynaemu, she is worried about the lack of a guide and channell info, would you mind if
kalyna wrote to you and asked you what ever is bothering her?? I love your column and
read every day, tnx much, kenb

Hi! Well for one I`m no engineer just a crazy indian up here in the great white north ,I learned most of what I know from reading alot about the FTA stuff,I actually learned this one faster than my DTV stuff.
but I think in time they will come up with something that would bring us full guide data.
I`m just happy to know which channels are which.next step I see will come full guide info just a matter of time.
