Questions for the knowledgable

sometimes when i redo the hi/low for ppv, while reading the card, it get the message "backdoor seems to be open" and it reads just fine, but i did not unlock card, i always check, and my p/w is there, just doesn't need it, is this a problem?

also, when i apply a new blocker, can i "patch" it onto the card, or do i need to do a full clean, rewrite a new script, add blocker, then write to card?

everything works, but i'm worried that the card is not locking, leaving it open to charlie

Well; if you don't have to unlock you card to read it, then I guess its save to say your blocker did not install properly.
After you finish playing with your ppv thingies just reapply your blocker. Then check and see if you can read your card.
Just noticed that this was a question for the knowledgable--Oh well just take mine for what its worth.lol.

When you use a blocker, to spoof your card to the latest revision. Nagra can still read it and clean out the card for further writing. If you use a blocker with a password lock, then you wont be able to read unless you remove the password first. This is how I do it.
