Two Dish 322 receivers, want to replace one...help please

I don't know if they are compatible, they being the FTA based boxes. With the DP34 series switches.

After that little roadblock being checked, I'd say you'll be okay. They take wide range of LNB voltages and so on and so forth, so the Dish itself, should be suitable. Its just a question if the line from that DP34 switch will work, or harm the box.

As far as can they tell if the cable is plugged in, well, I know with the 311's, it will randomly note that my phone line is not plugged in. Even though the thing is connected 24/7/365, just retarded little unit.

So I don't know if Dish would know the truth or not in that regard, I mean, those boxes are pretty ignant from my viewpoint :D
