Are you sure 4700 firmware will work with a 3700?
Try going back to original, although the receiver appears not to power up, can you still get a reading with jkeys?

Yes I was abele to get reading with jtag the only thing is it use to show model# by it self now I have to select from drop down list and then IRD# and box key appear I’m not sure why it isn’t working well I upload the original tsop to IRD and it come alive again if any one have experience of this transforming please shade some light I will like to do it again :) :)

The 27/28/37/38/47/4800's all use the same firmware (2800) now days. Latest firmware for all models just listed is P797.
So you saying it’s possible JT:rolleyes:

A 3700 and a 4700 are not close to the same. 2700/2800/3700 at are at 797. The 3800/3900 are at 231 and the 4700/4900 are at 216. Also i believe the tsop's on the 3800/3900/4700/4900 are bigger then the 2700/2800/3700 so NOT interchangable.

Current DN FW...

I stand corrected. Deleting previous posts to prevent confusion...and hopefully save some face. 3900 has 2Mb tsop, 4900 has 1Mb tsop, and 2700 has 512Kb tsop....removing head from ass now....
