Having a problem with sat’s. I have a 2500a & two dishes (18”) with single lnb’s on each one, to the receiver with a switch, two sats in one out to receiver. I get the bell (VU,VENUS) stuff but no dishnet stuff (HBO,PPV). Is it possible to get both? If so how?
A buddy of mine has the 2300a (just installed on Thursday) with the one oval dish with two lnb's, he gets only dishnet (HBO,PPV) but no bell. I know the flash he has is different than mine. Is that what determines sat’s you can get?

Hi! your Dn is 19 degrees w of your bev, so if you get bev with one then move the other one to your right if standing behind your dish elavation has to be about 6 degrees higher than bev ,for 110w
and if your buddy is using an oval dish with two lnb`s he should get 110w & 119w but he will need to add another dish to get bev.

Thanx for the info xwolfs7. I read alot of your postings, you seem to know your stuff on this. I'm going to try it.
Whats the name of the 110 or 119 sat's on the antena setup? Do I have to change the diseqc to #1 for bev & #2 for 110 or kep it off as it is now?
So you your flash does not determine your chanels?

Hi! the names for 110w in menu is echo 6,8 & 119w is echo7.
have your set up like this first run direct line into your receiver and tune into 11ow echo 6,8. get the highest signal you can over 80 and you should get good quality on it.
if you have an oval dish line up 110w echo 6,8 first get a good signal then after you lock onto it run a line from your lnb for 119w echo7 with this one you just have to skew your dish to get 119w locked in .
after you do them both do a sat scan on both then make sure your key function is turned on.

Hey xwolfs7, I'm using my dave dishes for the both is that okay? on my sat guide it shows echo 8.6 is that the same as echo 6,8? I don't see a 6/8, if not what is?
So I point the dishes one at a time, unscrew the bev coaxle from the splitter (already set) keep the other one in & point the other to 110w - right.
Keep the settings for the lnb @
lnb - standard
lnb feq - 11250
22 khz - off
diseqc - off
skew - ?
tp - ?
is that okay?

Hi! 110w is echo 6,8 but what kind of switch are you using if your going to leave one on bev the best thing to do is get a disqc switch and have it set like;
nimiq1 bev 91w #1 & echo 6,8 110w #2 and you could also later add another dish aimed at 119w echo7 ,that`s up to you.
leave the tp and skew as is if your using 2 single 18" dishes .
you know you have echo 110w as the first channel is History and you will get most of the PPV on this sat...good luck

Hey!, Thanx for the reply, I know you said 110w is echo 6,8, but I don't see a 110w or 119w on the sat guide. The closes thing is echo 7 = (119w) ? & 110w = (?), I have no echo 6,8 on the guide. I'm using a 2 to 1 switch.
