American Express iso programmer: Howto???

A buddy of mine got this iso programmer from his co-worker. He can not figure out how it works. Does any testers know how to do this? I thought an iso programmer is "an iso programmer".

Well if you can program American Express with it, it can't be all bad!!! LOL, Had to throw that in there, sorry, I really do not know anything about them, what is the crystal mhz?? 3.57, 3.68?? The crystal must comply with what card you are trying to test, 3.57 is for P4 or dave in general I think and the 3.68 is for nagravision.

Nope the pins on the programmer don't match up with the card.

No, a iso programmer is NOT "an iso programmer". Most of the ones you see outside the "testing" community are windows sc based programmers with onboard software and will not work with "Testing" software. The ones we use are "dumb" programmers that have no onboard software.....

here is what I did with my http://www.dssftp.com/forum/upload/showthread.php?t=22347 amex card reader. Used the schematic and used the card slot reader sincve I could not locate one locally. This ISO reader works great....
