Possible flash corruption, it may need to be reflashed.....

4000 doesnt have a j-tag opening so you cant flash it. Have you tried to junkyard fix? If you do then maybe it will update and fix the problem. I also have a 4000 but I have never had that problem. Not sure if that will fix your problem though. Just trying to help.

Did it turn itself on and freeze? Sounds like it wants to update, But the locks are stopping it thus frozen.
