Adding Patch Question

Ok maybe this is a dumb question but I just need to know. Lets say I've got an image for either rom10 or rom3 that is working good the only thing missing is the PPV movies. Can I just create a PPV patch using YATM, patch this file to a card with the good image and not worry about my blocker. Or is it that every time a patch is applied you need to apply a blocker. Any suggestions appreciated and if I should add some more info. just let me know.

Before you program a card, you need to clean it first. Then open your ROM image, enter all your info, apply a tier patch, then apply a blocker.

Well thats were I'm confused. If the image I used is a good image with everthing open except the ppv's. If i just add the patch with updated ppv movies event id's, will I have any problems, or when i add my patch, my blocker will be removed. Maybe i'm not explaining it right.

Or maybe i should download the latest blocker so I wont have no problems. What are the latest blockers???

You will have problems if you do not clean the card first. As a rule of thumb, to avoid problems I always do a full clean whenever I change/add anything to a card. By doing a full clean, the tiers, blocker, etc will be wiped off. Then open your image, add your tiers & blocker

I highly recommend Mili's private blocker. As for public blocker(s), I don't use em so I don't know which ones are currently working. Read the forums to see what others are using. Or go to the files section to see what has been recently uploaded.
