Telewest Communication card from Nagra Vision

Has anyone heard or seen a card of this kind. I have Two of them and Nagra Edit recognizes it as ROM10 cards. I have programed one card but the receiver sits at Acquiring Sattelite signal at Transponder 02 and 2 of 5 detected. It will not go into the service. Am I doing something wrong. Or is this card not suitable for Dish.

Anyones help will be appreciated.

i think your tiers are wrong , nothing to do with the card, its the image
that wrong ,
try the card in a different reciever , also if your using dual lnb try removing
one, also a receiver hard reset might help

I am using the same Tiers in a Original Dish card and its fine. Also I am using this card in a 3900 Receiver and have only one LNB coming to the house from 119 , 110 and 61.5. All Sats are recognized and Check switch done. It stays at Transponder 2 Sat 119 forever. If I put in another card in 15 minutes I am up and running.

try hard reset

Press Menu, 6, 3, info, Right Arrow, Left Arrow, (you will see memory dump screen),then select TV/Video. You will get a message : "Non volatile memory is corrupted..." so you unplug for 10 seconds and plug back. Everything is reset
-note to set your IRD to not take any updates press "Menu", "6", "1", "5" and select "Ask Before Downloading" and then "Save". a message might appear on your screen saying there is new firmware in the stream. Select NO, otherwise
new firmware will be downloaded ,, if that dosent cure it try reducing the tiers
and check things like CAM ID is same as working card

Did you write a dish rom10 image to the card?? If you use the original image, the provider info (and maybe other things) will be wrong for dish.

yep you need to find a clean rom 10 image for dish and write that to the card and then program as usual
