7200 gone forever?

Is the 7100/7200 gone forever?I paid $500 for mine.I hope not I just got in to this.I guess I should not have believed what I read never get ecmed my ass. :mad2: :mad2:

Just because you heard it was ecm proof dosen't mean that it was, nothing is guaranteed 100% in this hobby.

Came home from work today and only have charlie chat. Location ID 000001 --- Not good!! Cant write to 71/7200's. It was good while they lasted. I've had 1 running for more than 3 years without a glitch. Anybody that is just getting into this hobby needs to explore other horizons. I believe that Charlie has had about enough of us.

How does one accomplish the junkyard fix?

sit and wait guys, the 7200 problem is new. I think you will be able to bring it back, give it 48 hrs

hey whats about my3900 I am trying to reflash my tsop and every bin I get form the bank says that error ?

i finally got it i erased the full bin then I down loaded another one then flashed it on it work ed but have to update new bin ~in stream

I was just talking to a gentlemen yesterday about the 71/7200 he claimed he had one that was hit a few years ago. I told him that they have never been hit according to a bunch of folks on this site. He told me he was fairly certain it was a ECM. Not more than 4 hours later Charlie unleashed his wrath.

The 7200 bin in files I beleive is corrupt, Unless I had a bad DL of them.

I did not restream mine yet either and am not worried about it. It will be back in the stream when Charlie thinks we gave up.

...fingers crossed, knocking on wood....waiting for 3AM.....some salt over the right shoulder (or is it the left shoulder)....Got one done, but one more to go. It picked up almost all the updates needed about 4 hours ago, but not quite. It runs, but its' like the EPG tier isn't there even though it is. No info errors all over the guide, but almost everything is there.

mine is stuck in update mode. The P1.24 update is showing that its in the stream...
