Question about 7100/7200

If the update is out of the stream. What about the real people who are paying a monthly bill? What are they going to do? Just wondering.

The EMM's are back in the stream. Yep, got two 7x00's back up and running. Put a lock on both and both just needed to be rebooted with EMM that just came down.

Looks like the "HACKERS" - hardware gotta get moving.. I always thought the 7x000
was nice -
too bad they are hitting TSOP -
need an easy way to port a jtag to it.. I seen PCC mods but everything is rather ackward..
running from pulling the chip putting in a 2700
and of course sombrero (using the read-write_ hat software...

I have not beable to get 7200 up and running tryed the "JYF" about 20 times no luck. How did you get yours up and running?

so if you got something please TEST -

ie

1) run a basic top60 nothing else - do you get hit
2) run a baisic with 1 ppv - do you get hit


etc we need to find what they are targeting

on 07/20 :
1.3900 with rom2,blocker from rtm9.8,no lock,one sat-61.5, JUST International Package1 -hit.
2.3900 with rom3,penga's 64-6 blocker,one sat 61.5,no lock ,just international package1- hit.
when typing this , 3900 with rom2 was hit again[just international 1 package]

The junkyard fix only works if the firmware update is in the stream, and apparently it isn't any more. Hopefully it will return. Leave the unit plugged into sat and cross your fingers. (no card inserted)

We tried connecting 16 and 17. Power comes back on but it should go off according to your posting and it does not. It always stay on. We tried your steps so many times but nothing seems to be working? What am I doing wrong?
