July 22 EMM/ECM Confirmed

Not sure at this time if it's the same thing, or something different. The method of delivery appears to be the same. No one logged it that I'm aware of; we didn't see it coming, as was the case yesterday.

Setups running 3's and 10's have been hit, CEMU down, MC down, regardless of whether or not you had a PPV string on the card.

A follow-up to my thread/theory yesterday concerning a "poison" tier that Charlie added to cards - one that would trigger an instant ECM:

Look at your cards today, after you get hit (if you do)...see if you see this tier. This is what I was talking about.

There are reports of this tier being seen on "hit" cards today...

This appears to be an out of range PPV tier (65280)...just what the stream needs to ECM the crap out of your IRD... :eek:

For what it's worth, I am running a 301.013, my own tierlist (tiergen) with NO PPV strings, NO porn, and NO 450-460 PPV's either...with a ROM10 card. Other receiver is a PVR501, rom3, same tier list. It's been working since the initial hit two days ago.

Mili PB.....as Mili explained yesterday, his blocker is actually a spoofer...makes the CAM appear to the stream as if it's at the current revision level, when it's actually not.

Two days ago, I took hits on both units, and the PB was on both cards. Today, folks are being hit with public blockers installed, and with NO blockers installed. I haven't seen any reports, other than myself, of those being hit running Mili's PB.

If we ever see a consistent pattern to this shit, we'll be on our way to solving the problem...right now, it's all over the map. We have a basic idea what they're doing...but not specifically what they're targeting.

Lets hope the new opcode will be understood this time and the working mechanism of the ECM is solved. For now we got no idea whatsoever what is targeted. Please be patient.

MAYBE IF I YELL REAL LOUD, SOMEONE WILL POST OR ASK OTHERS TO POST THE FIRMWARE REVS THAT ARE UP, REVS THAT ARE BEING HIT.
We know it ain`t the card, the blocker, the ppvs.
The pattern`s gonna be the in firmware. THE 7200 HAD NO COMMAND CAPABILITIES TIL NOW.
Does anyone believe it always did, but the creator just figured out how to access them.
Why do you suppose they`ve been screwed up . They added command capabilities to tsop bin and had to delete a good chunk of it`s brain power to do so.
I may be wrong but it`s something nobody is looking at. Not to hard to add the word rev to your survey. there is a more in depth look in the thread I started earlier on this subject.

As of Right now 5:00pm est. I am up with Milis Blocker. I have a 4900 ird with Milis March 31 tiers. No PPV's where added to my card.

I have a 128 that has been hit two times today i have other4900 & 39oo that is runing fine. Can any one tell me why?

Temil, try running Rom10.Opener on that card - it should straighten it up. Yes, faulty programming on the card is the reason you're not watching TV. This is what Mili recommends to take the private blocker off a stubborn Rom10 when nothing else will work. When through, CLEAN it in NE. Email me if you need the program.

Muleman, there's no consistency to these hits, so I can't answer your question....just have to wait for a pattern to emerge.

If the hit came today it did not take me down. (may have reset was not there) all channels here when I got home. MC was standard Mili MC2.2 with no mods.

I pulled to update at the right time 7/20, and happened to notice a thread about the EMM i.e. ECM. I had read my card, and went back and notice a extra ppv tier. I cleaned off everything except what I wrote at the beginning of this post. I pull before I go to bed, so I may missed the ECM. From the past, I have notice that they, being Charlie, sends ECMs twice a day, about 10 to 12 hrs apart? Don't know if this is what he is doing again, but I seem to be having luck with what I am running...

hi all, just a little info on what i did,

rom 10, did nothing to it

ird 2800 erased sector 5, put it back in the stream now up and running now, guess if you have a 3700 -3900 erase sector 30

I don't know if this helps, but I have been up since late tuesday with PB and no PPV's on several different receivers all with Rom 10's

I have a 2700 with a Rom 2 that didn't go down Tuesday and it didn't go down Today.........yet.....just as sure as I hit the button to post this reply I'll have no TV. Also no ppv's or porn here either. Just the basics and the Hbo's etc..........

Well I am also good since Tuesday. Rom10 2700 erased sa5 restreamed, set all PPV and event ID's to 00's. No PPV and only 3 porn channels, but just called home and the wife says she is watchin' TV.

OK what's the trick to get the Atmega running? I used the tier creator for dummies put on only the Americas Everything pkg. last night and it lasted for about an hour and back to location 00000001. I even left OFF the PPV string.

hey wassupmane, looks to me like charlie just put those outa commission prolly for good. i see all over the place that web tv is now associated with a cable company and now comes to ya via cable. and that is a product from microsoft. so that tells me that charlie now has a green light to start to fuck with the 7100 and 7200, and then all other single tsop non jtaggable that they made. because they use the same softwares.
