Help with Dish Setup!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly how I need to go about converting my old Primestar dish to work with Dish Network. It is an elliptical dish and it's fairly large. I had a file one time that told how to do it but I lost it. I think all you basically have to do is build a different bracket for the lnb's to adapt to it. Thanks for any info .......

No it wont u must download this software and update it then make a blocker it will save it to the folder where this program is and the open nagra edit click on the patch tab open the blocker in the gcsb folder and hit open then always test it for errors then run it but before that u must have teirs loaded then write it to the card and try to read the card back if it says Rev a23 and says bd3 login failed the blocker is working

Great..thanks for the info. I see it is not an executable file. How do I apply that using Nagra Edit? I get this message when I read from my card:

Anything I can do with a "blocker" or a "stream lock" ?? Is there a way to open the back door?? My 301 with this card in it froze the picture and then all channels went to black. I would like to be able to get my tv back by use of nagra edit on thie rom 3 card. I have the box key info if that is needed. Can somebody help me or direct me to some instructions so I don't screw up my system??

My DP301 receiver has some hand written stickers on that were there when I bought it. On of them is obviously the box keys. The other could be the password to open the back door. The numbers are 02070C7D. If that is the password, I need to know how to use it. Where do I type it in??

Its not long enough to be box keys or a blocker password

I found a longer string of numbers, and tried them, but no luck. I think this is long enough:

it could be a password execept fot the S and it should be 16 characters from A-F or 0 zero-9

I used Remove Card Lock in the tools section of Nagra. I got this message:
Opening of COM2 was successful
Removing card lock
Closing of COM2 was successful
Bad password or BackDoor not present

When I try to read the card, I get a message that the back door is closed.

This is the password I used (my stick info minus the "S)
41 OB 7C 05 0A 70 63 C2 Still says "back door appears to be closed. Is the a different place to use the password for the back door?

That could be the box keys to the receiver

if it does those are ur box keys not the password to ur card

Exactly the numbers you state. So I don't have a password. That is the box key. What can I do with the card when every thing went to black screen, and I cannot open the back door??

So i guess it was working and now its black screen.. Do u know who programed the card maybe they can give u the password or check the download section for a rom 3 password unlocker their may be one i know for the rom 10 their is a program like that

I just looked at the download section. Can you let me know what category the Rom 3 password unlocker would be under? There are over 10 categories and none appear to be relevant.

I downloaded the file you suggested. One of the programs is unlockrom2.xvb which sounds like what I need. I applied that file and got a message that the card was sucsessfully unlocked. Then I tried to back up the card and got this message:

The card may be unlocked, but the BackDoor is still closed. I guess unlocking the card does not open the door!

a vbx file uses WinExplorer its in the dwonload section to and if the backdoor is closed the card is still locked some scripts require you to run them a few times

And next time dont post ur ATR in the fourm everyone can see it just not regestered users EXAMPLE DICK NETWORK!!LOL

I ran thesoftware several times, but always the same result. Card unlocked, back door closed. I got a reply from the guy who did the card. I don't know what he did, but I guess I will send the card to him unless someone here has any more ideasl

HE DID NOT PROGRAM THE CARDS, HIS FRIEND DID... HE TOLD ME THAT WHEN THE
CARDS WERE HIT ON "BLACK THURSDAY", AFTER THE FIRST TIME AFTER THEY PROGRAMMED
THEM, THE CARD WERE RENDERED ALMOST UNUSABLE... THEY HAD TO INSTALL A SPECIAL
PROGRAM, THAT ALLOWS THEM TO RE-PROGRAM THE CARD, TIME AND TIME AGAIN...
HE TOLD ME THAT HE DOESN'T KNOW THE PASSWORD, AND THAT EVEN IF THE PASSWORD
IS CHANGED, THE PROGRAM THEY INSTALLED, WILL IGNORE THE NEW PASSWORD AND
RE-INSTALL THE PASSWORD ENTERED AND THEN THE NEW PROGRAM YOU INSTALL WON'T
WORK ANYMORE...

HE TOLD ME THAT THE ONLY WAY OUT IS TO SEND ME THE CARD AND THE NUMBERS
THEY WROTE ON THE RECEIVER AND THAT THEY WOULD TRY TO CLEAN THE CARD AND
LEAVE IT SO THAT YOU CAN PROGRAM IT FROM NOW ON

Nope, the guys are in Mexico, and stay hidden. I don't know what they do. But they manage to unloop cards that are virtually impossible. Those Rom 3 cards are hard to come by.

I have an atmega card. The PPV channels all go hit last nght. I there an special routine for resotering PPV? I have Nagra Edit 4.1 Can I use that on atmega cards
