Hi, Guys! Can someone please set me straight! I have the 301.013 Single TSOP chip IRD.
1. Does this unit have ONE or TWO flash images?
2. If ONE.........what is the size?

Single means 1. I believe, but don't quote me on this, but they are 2mb a piece.

The reason I asked was, when I originally backed up the flash on this single TSOP IRD using JKEYS with the two flash options, I saved an image of flash 1 (xxx1.bin) and flash two (xxx2.bin) along with a copy of the eeprom image. It shows both files as a size of 4Meg each?? I erased both flashes and when I reloaded them the first was ok but the second flash said there was still data in the fields. Anyway.......the unit is down with no power led etc. Thats why I thought ther may be two flash images on one TSOP. How do I recover from this screwup?? Thanks for all your help and quick responce!!

Single TSOP models are 4mb and the older Dual models are 2x2mb.

If you are not sure, then you will need to open the receiver and see, not that hard to do.....

I have had the case off and ther is only ONE TSOP chip. The other space is empty. Thats why I think the unit got all screwed up when I tried to reload both images. Can I recover from this? I tried just loading the first flash but still no power led. Any suggestions?

Erase it again and load your saved TSOP bin back on it again.

You should have back it up using JKEYS with single TSOP option. I don't have too much experience with single TSOP units but i did the same mistake first time and ended up with 2 4mb dumps. Then I did some research, got JKEYS with single TSOP option and it worked. You will need a 4mb TSOP image which has to be altered with yours IRD# and keys and then uploaded with single tsop version of JKEYS. I would do it that way... but I'm not an expert. Good luck.

I only found the two flash JKEYS at the time. I'll try to build another flash image and see if that works.
