I have a 301.010 IRD, subbed cam and using a atmega. I took the ECM of 6-17-03 and revieved my IRD. The subbed cam works just fine but not the Atmega. I get a full blue program screen but a black screen. The music channels work but thats it. I have tried everything I can think of and everything that I could find posted in the various forums but no luck yet. PLEASE...anyone that might be able to help me their advice will be greatly appreciated.....

I was hoping like hell that your file would do it but no such luck. I did notice that at the end it said that I may need to set the fuse/lock settings. That would be good but I don't know what they are supposed to be. Anyway, any more ideas...I need all the help I can get right now.....Thanks

1. Clean contacts with new soft eraser.
2. Use latest jeepers prog.
3. Make sure box ceys , ect. are correct.
4. Use a valid rom3 cam id.
5. After programming put into rec, tune to 101 and wait 15 min b4 u do anything more.....

Blank screen with previews only sounds like a Rom image problem.
BUT i must say i have never heard to use those fuze/lock settings
I have alway heard to use these
If you have an 18mhz atmega
the bottom should say ff ae 89 ff
if not make sure these are selected
in column one --> select all of them
in column 2 -- > select bodlevel, sut1, cksel1, cksel2 and cksel3
in column 3 --> select ocden, eesave, and bootrst
in column 4 --> select both of them
If you have an atmega without a crystal
the bottom should say ff a0 89 ff
if not make sure these are selected
in column one --> select all of them
in column 2 -- > select bodlevel, sut1
in column 3 --> select ocden, eesave, and bootrst
in column 4 --> select both of them
If you have any other atmega then the two above
the bottom should say ff af 89 ff
if not make sure these are selected
in column one --> select all of them
in column 2 -- > select bodlevel, sut1,cksel0, cksel1, cksel2 and cksel3
in column 3 --> select ocden, eesave, and bootrst
in column 4 --> select both of them

I found out this morning that there are indeed some 16000 mhz ird`s out (seems I have one) The fix for this was to program everything just like you normally would but go to jeepers select external clock on board setting and leave the jumper in program mode even when placed in ird
This brought mine to life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
