0xffffffffffffffff what does that mean cause thats what i get when i try to jtag my 3800/3900 hundred

Jtag is probably not connedted correctly.............or is no good.

Its brand new i just bought it cause i thought the old one was no good .

Then I would go with the "not connected correctly" option........have you read the "jtag how to" at bellexpress.vu?

yes i read ive jtaged this same receiver 15 times before but last friday i erased just the sa 30 instead of the whole flash and i havent been able to jtag since just received a brand new jtag today.

Seems several people are having that problem with the 3800/3900's...........don't know what's up with that and I don't have one of those to mess with
