Well, I pinged the Den, it reported the site has DNS problems, I hope this is correct or maybe Risestar got to them and put a hold on the site temporarily, either way its bullshit. I agree with Mili, why is satellite piracy more important and many other crimes, it makes no sense and goes to show you the world we live in is screwed up and there is no democracy or justice at times, money talks and sometimes thats bullshit, GTG.

The source of this information can not be revealed at their request. .....that is so true. I can't remember the state, but I do remember the news commentary about a state ( I believe is Illinoise, or Indiana) has made it illigal to perform oral sex. The time spent on the Clinton/Monica inquirey was bad enuff, but shit, why is it we can spend so much damn time and money on issues like that, but we can't seem to track down a rapist, a serial killer, a child malester, or hell, a man who hasn't paid his child support in 15 years. If I have the know how to somehow read a signal that comes across my backyard, why should'nt I. If I have a good understanding of what it all means and would like to share my understandings with others with the same interests, why should'nt I? If you don't want your signal read, find a way to make it unreadable. Hell, their new IRD's were designed to learn what I watch and report it back to them. I was in my local sat supplier the other day. He said this...(I don't think he knew who he was talking to) "I love it when I find out about people pirating DTV, I report them, and if it turns out to be true, DTV sends me a $1000 reward." I didn't bother to ask him how many times he was paid to be a narc, but fortunately for me, all I was buying was a new set of cable crimpers and compression fittings.

My guess is this. The pirates den did not go down due to illegal activity. (at least not on the part of the pirates den) They went down because Dave made somebody an offer they couldn't refuse to shut them down. By that I mean, Dave figured out who the weak link was, and said "Just name your price" You have to assume Dave is, in his mind at least, loosing an estimated 20 million per month to pirating (never mind that he coats the entire nothern hemisphere with his microwaves...maybe we should sue him for exposure to unhealthy radiation)

When you look at what is going on now with Dave, it all boils down to money.

Unfortunately, here is the kicker. In America today, laws are not written to be just or to reflect a higher moral fiber. Laws today are written because there are 10.5 lobbyists for every member of our judicial branch. These lobbyists see to it that the lawmakers that vote in accordance with their special intrest group receive a very nice, and usually non taxable, donation to their campaign fund. When you look at laws that are passed today, you should ask yourself "Who paid for this legislation, and how do they benifit?"

In America today we are witnessing a corruption of our "Justice System" at a level unprecidented in our countries great history. Now days if you want justice you see a hooker, and if you want to get fucked, you see a judge.

But I believe this; what Dave is doing now to suppress free speach and personal freedom is uncomfortably similar to what the British were doing to Americans just prior to the Boston tea party. I don't know about you guys, but my guns are loaded and I am ready to take up arms should the need arise.:mad:

Most likely the site will be completely gutted for a while. I would also be very weary of visiting it if I was from the US or Canada. A healthy dose of paranoia is well warranted in this case.

As expected, it has changed with a number of new avenues of discussion replacing others that have been suspended.

Its important to note that nothing that was there before has been lost, merely suspended pending an ultimate resolution.
