got a dish pointing at 110` and 119`birds. I want 2 recievers to recieve programming. 1 LNB has dual outputs and the other is a single LNB. 2 SW21 would work i guess but then i need a signal splitter for the single LNB. I attached a rough sketch of what i what. Is this correct?. Also if i use Diplexors to combine cable tv and satellite will that work? see attached pic

It should work as long as both you dishes and Ird's match. Meaning all Legacy or all dish pro. An SW21 switch will only work w/legacy dishes. Different style required with the DP. You may expierence some difficulteis with the spliter though sometimes it will drop the signal power to low for the Irds to read. same with unions. But not always. I will try and rummage through my papers and find the switch # for the DP i dont remember it off hand, but they will allow you to hook up to 4 irds with one or more dishes. u shouldnt need to use any Diplexors for the input feed of both cable and sat.the box should allow both signals in and work just fine. depending on the channel youve chosen to watch each one with.

Don't think you will get it to work as shown,,,,,get a second 2 output lnb and then it will for sure.

Most is on 119, then 110, some locals are scattered among the other sats.

i noticed that when i went to dishnetwork.com and checked on my local channels it said i needed the Superdish. So basically thats with the 3rd LNB facing the 69` bird. I could point 1 dish at 119` and the 2nd dish at 69`.

Is there a diagram out that shows using a DTV 18" dish and epoxy'ing extra LNBs to the existing LNB to hit the other satellites? can someone comment more on that? thanks

what switch is recommended for using with 3 different satelites? I know the sw21 is used to for example to combine the 110` and 119` dishes but if i add a 61.5` dish i need to cmbine them all. Isnt the 61.5` bird what locals are on? ok when i go to dishnetworks website and check onlocals for my area it says i need the super dish. So would that mean my locals are on the 101` bird?

You need a SW64, that will be 6 in (2 from 3 lnb's) and 4 out.

I am not sure what the super dish gets, always thought it was 110, 119 and 121, but then again, I'm not sure.

SW 64 is expensive way for 1 or 2 receiver. You can use combination of sw 21 and 21X for combining 3 sats.

check ebay for your switches and 18inch.com for your shematics, I have three dave lnbs stacked together on a phase three dave triple dish and I hit 101,110,119 perfectly and never reaimed the dish after dave, just adjusted the lnbs SLIGHTLY, the center(110) actually will mount on the underside of the arm, just drill one hole between the existing two and mount that shit.
