Hi folks
I just tried to download a TSOP bin from the Echostar Files section, and it dumped as a Text file.Which seems to be NFG for me.I thought if maybe I opened it in FlashEdit and saved it there,it would convert it to a bin,but FE wouldn't recognize it.Tried putting ".bin" as the extension, but it stayed as text file. Can anybody help me change this thing into a usable file?Or is there a setting on my puter that changed?i've dumped plenty of TSOP bins in the past and didn't have this problem. Thanks

You need a hex editor, but I haven't found one in this site's download files yet. If you can find one, cut and paste the txt into it and save as a bin. Pretty easy.

OK...grabbed one, uploaded it in here so there is one for people to use.Went back to download the file again, when I click on it it opens up,but it looks like it's encripted.Has squares, these things~,#,! and more shit.Doesn't look like hex.Or is it supposed to look like that? Also,it takes quite a while to fully open and my computer seems to lock up at a certain point.does this look normal?I doubt it.Gotta find another 2700 CASA bin other than the two here perhaps?

That doesn't sound right. You said there are two here, are both like that? I'll look to see if I have a casa.

Much appreciated.Yup,both are.And some others I found while just pissing around. Most of them send me to the "Save" screen as they should.
The new software seems to be giving me grief with the ATmega. At least I want to test E409 to see if it's the same issues to find if it's the card(which works fine on a 3100/301).Now if only I could find where I stashed my spare Atmega....

I just uploaded a CASA at P797. I've never uploaded here before, so I don't know how long it will take to become available.
