Can anyone tell me what TSOP I need to get for a 2700, with build config CATD on the board?

Go to the TSOP bank. Hit 'Ctrl + F' (find on this page) then enter CAT. There are many...

Hey there,
I found like 2 ones that were CAT but they all have different letters after the CAT. So far neither has worked.
Can anyone tell me which one I shoudl download?

The last letter doesn't matter. I just tried both those files in FlashEdit2.0a and they opened no prob.

Be sure to enter your IRD info & BK in Flashedit and save as a personnal dump. Then create a virgin eeprom and save. Then reflash both .bin files to your IRD with Jkeys 2.9.9

The problem I am having is that my friends 2700 is stuck at "Aquiring Signal", and can't get it to go away. I read somewhere that it could be because you have the wrong TSOP loaded for your model number. Does this make sense?
I know that the sat is aimed right, as my other receivers get 90% with same coax.
Any thoughts?

Perhaps the eeprom is corrupt. Go to the system info screen. If there's a 'F' at the end of your FW #, then it's corrupt. If normal, it will read 'N'

Ahh ok thanks I will try that this afternoon after work.
So what TSOP in the bank would you recommend I try for teh CATD build? And any idea where I can get a virginized eeprom.

Here's a link that will help you with Flashedit. In this thread, I helped a member with his 3100/301. They have 2 TSOPs, yours has one. But it will give you a good idea on using that program. I explained pretty much in detail what to do. Read the whole thread...
