I'm trying to point my dish and I'm having difficulty pointing it at the satellite. It's a 301-010 reciever but in the front at the bottom r/h corner it says "Echoestar" does this matter? I'm trying to get Dishnet programming.

Nope.The Echostar name means nothing to you.Do you have the right coordinates for aiming?

Thanks, I downloaded and ran it. Dishnet isn't on the list. I must have to pick a different one. Do you know which one it is?

I haven't looked at that one yet,but does it list Echostar at 110* and 119*?They are the ones you're looking for.
OK,I just looked at DishCumbia and try Echostar 1&2 setting.If ya need,PM an address and I'll send a simpler Dishpointing file and then I'll try to upload it here.

Echostar5 = 119

Yes, It has echostar listed. I'll use those settings. Do you know which transponders to use when I'm adjusting the dish to the satellite.

Thanks Chap.I didn't know that 110 and 119 weren't 1 & 2.Sorry about the misinformation.

I know that for BEV, transponder 11 is best for dish pointing. I don't remember the best one for Dish. But 22 rings a bell....?? Try it. If not, try a different one.
Good luck ;)
