Please help with dish pointing

I'm trying to get my dish pointed at Sat. 119 and 110 I understand that the azimuth, elevation and skew is 228, 39 and 126. from what I've read is that transponder 11 will pick up both - 119/110. I have a compass to get me in the ballpark. Do I use the compass to get 228 degees from North?

yep pretty much got it.
yes 228 from north so basically 228 is in southwest good start point make sure to have decent line of sight to sw and should be good to find them no big tree in way....
the 39 is angle up from ground look on marked curved guide side of dish 500
skew is the twist set by marked guide on back of dish 500
make sure the mast you mount it on is plumb
transponder 11 should be good for both 110 and 119 good luck
