need help with 0000001

I have jtag my 2800 before no problems erase sa5 three times and than restream. Did they change something because now I have tried about 20 times and no go on the loc..The jtag is working because I get all the info..I have even tried a full erase and when I put my saved bin back on I get the message memory is not blank..ANY IDEAS?

How long did you let it restream? The guide says 5-30 minutes. Mopar

Same $hit happens to me every so often. I just use the super technical computer solution.

You know. Unhook everything, re-hook it all up and try again.

Seriously had the same issue using jtag on a 2800. Erased it like 20 times....still full. Just started over and I'll be damned if it didnt work first time.

i had no problem with 2 3800's and many 301.013 but man some some reason my 2800 is being difficult. I have erased Sa5 like 20 some times... i try to restream but it just turns on and goes to the 613 screen to remind me of my 0000001 addy ....

do i have to erase etire and reflash ?
id rather not...

also the SA5 is for 3 models right ?....so even if the ird says 2800 on the box ...can i choose another in jkeys menu and flash that instead ?...( anyone tested that )

or plan c .....should i just pound the box with my fist till it starts to be "NICE" to me

After you click on "Flash programming", a warning screen will pop up, turn OFF the box and wait a few seconds, then turn the box on and click OK, then erase SA5. This is the only way for JKey to "synch" correctly with the TSOP...

do a full erase, it much easier. No waiting for 5 to 30 minutes for restream

when you say turn it off... do you mean pull the plug and plug back in or ...hit power on the remote ?...

me thinks i have to pull the plug cause its powered off anyways while im jtaggin

not really....just need to read up on on JTAGS and JkEYS ...

in english...basically you will have to access your reciever memory chip and erase the section of the onboard memory that is causing the problem...

then just hook it up to yer sat and let fresh info take its place ...

youll be back in business in no time...

if you have the right tools.. and dont mind reading up ..it should take u 30 min tops .,, ..
