I have a DTV dish with two heads .....it looks almost exactly like the dish 500 from dish network...i was wondering if i could use this same dish and re-point it to receive the dish network signals from 110 and 119 . If this is possible, how do i know where to point it?

any help at all would be greatly appreciated,

thank you.

I know you can use the dish, but I'm not sure how you'll have to aim it to receive both birds. Does it have a skew adjustment on it? and is it an 18 inch dish or a 20?

There are several posts indicating that several people are doing this sucessfully. I am not familiar with a DTV dish that has only 2 lnbs that looks similiar to a dishnet dish tho.
A DTV multi satellite dish, typically, is oval, and has a place for 3 lnb's, as the full DTV package is 101, 110 and 119. The 110 lnb is a special sat C lnb and not compatible with dishnet.

hmmmm.....i'm not sure what a skew adjustment is...but it is a 20'" disc....so what do you think...is it possible? or is my best bet just to get a dish 500??

Skew is tilt, the dish needs to tilt in order to see 2 sats. It is an adjustment on the very back of the dish itself.
