I'm running a 2700 ird with a rom 2, using Buzzards Rom 2 autoroll, every time I refash the TSOP it gets ecm'ed within an hour. Is there something wrong with my card. I noticed when I was programming the card that the "public keys" section was all zeros. Is this correct or do I need to change them to what there supposed to be? Thanx in advance.
the auto roll means it will find the right keys but I would go ahead and put the right ones in to start with, if you dont you will be greeted with the 005 nag for a few minutes if your script is true auto roll.
getting ecm'ed so much could be cam ID or PPV strings,
delete all ppv and try to run just a basic pakage for awhile like top 60 or what ever bev calls it and see if you do any better.
on another note a friend called me that does not live to far from us and he said he was pointing to a bev bird and had all channels wide open and he was pointing in a generaly southern direction?????
xplain that???

check this out fubr? I finally found Nimiq 91, and it's allmost straight south. Something else I found that was weird. I have a DAVE dish with a dual lnb on it, that I'm using for my 119 signal for Charlie, well the other coax is still hooked up to one of my Dave receivers and I checked it and I'm getting a damn good DTV signal, so I'm getting Dave and Charlie on the same dish.........how weird......doesn't matter thought because No one has come out with a fix for Dave yet.

You can actually get dave/charlie and Bev on the same dish - I do. Here is a link to see how it is done. http://www.switchinfo.info/dtv+.html
Its a bitch to set up - but you can't beat one dish - 3 carriers.

And I'm sure I'll take heat for this - but hate to see someone buy the wrong thing - mili sells a three bird dish in his store - but its the NEW dish - that has three LNB's - with a built in switch with four coax outs - this DAVE multi - switch will NOT work with dish.
I know it says it will work with dish - but it WON'T - And yes I pointed this out to Mili via the site's email - and he sent back - the switch area can be broken/cracked open to be used that way. I have no idea if this will work - but cracking open the switch/lnb area is the only possible solution to this problem offered.
Me I got the old one on flea bay that has the SEPERATE lnb's - works like a charm.

Do you know where I can find directions on how to convert an old primestar dish to use with Dish Network?

Wow that is actually amazing. One question though: How do you account for the skew? I need a skew of 27 which is pretty skewed.

I found this on a hobby site a long time ago and saved it because I have a Primestar dish. I still have not tried the mod, but if you do, let me know how it turns out.
